Join The Friendship Circle's Adult Circle for a Journey Through Jewish History!
This month, we’re heading to the USA.
We’ll explore how America became a new home for Jewish immigrants searching for safety, opportunity, and a fresh start after difficult times. We’ll look at the waves of immigration in the 1940s, the idea that "America is Nisht Andersh," and what it was like to build a new life while holding onto our Jewish identity along the way.
Enjoy some Kosher Pickling while we take a look at how Jewish life in America has grown and changed over the years.
Join us as we Celebrate 250 years of Jewish history in America.
🗓 Next Session: Monday, July 27th
🕕 Time: 6:00 PM - 7:15 PM
📍 Location: Mandell JCC.
We need at least 5 participants to run this program.
Looking forward to learning, celebrating and exploring together!
