This month, we’ll step into the rich and dramatic world of ancient Persia, the setting of the Purim story that has shaped Jewish identity for generations. Together, we’ll explore the lives of the Jewish people living under Persian rule and reflect on how the timeless struggle between good and evil unfolded in the story of Esther and Mordechai. Their courage, resilience, and moral clarity continue to offer powerful lessons for us today.
To bring the experience to life, we’ll roll up our sleeves and make our very own hamantaschen, the classic Purim treat that connects us directly to this chapter of Jewish history. From engaging conversation to delicious baking, the evening promises insight, inspiration, and sweet fun.
