Program Photo.PNGThis year in the Jewish calendar is called a year of "Hakhel," which means "gather." During temple times, every seven years, Jewish people of all ages were commanded to gather and reconnect with one another in the holy temple and hear the king read the Torah. It was a display of unity and a statement of purpose to revitalize and refocus an increasingly diverse people. At Friendship Circle, every year is the hakhel year - with its spirit of unity and gatherings.

In celebration of Hakhel we've added even more opportunities for unity this year! Check out Challa for Hunger, Judaism and the Arts, and FC Fitness along with the return of our old favorites.

We can't wait to have you join us!
